Volunteers
Volunteer opportunities are available at the Bowie Animal Shelter. The City of Bowie has recently changed the criteria for being a volunteer. Please check with the police department for that criteria.
The Friends of the Bowie Animal Shelter are always looking for special people who can donate their time to raising money to be used for our spay/neuter assistance program.
Due to the new volunteer application & approval process we no longer volunteer inside the shelter. We do our work out in the community where our work is not hindered by local politics.
We have no "official" Jr. Volunteer program, but welcome any help we can get for special functions.
